Hugo Lederer has been on an extended trip to Italy, including Florence, from which he took great impressions of artistic nature. The date could not be clarified.
There are obviously still notes from his lectures. This would greatly complete this artist portrait.
There are copies of smaller works in many sizes, including destroyed ones. I am very interested in relevant communications; of course confidentiality is assured.
Some data are considered unsecured or in some cases no further data are available. We would be very grateful for corresponding messages.
The collaboration with Hans Pfitzner obviously went far beyond his artistic work. Where is there documentation?
There is a transcript of a conversation between Richard Strauss and Hugo Lederer on the occasion of the creation of the famous bust. This transcript should have been published in the Elbinger Zeitung. So far we have found no source.
Thankfully, the Strauss family left us a copy in 2016, the results of which will be incorporated into the catalog raisonné!
